Technology Leadership Group
A small group of Year 5 and 6 students have been busy working with classrooms across the school to support students with their learning in technology.
The Leadership Group have recently worked with Rooms 8, 12 and 21 to help the students Google their questions about the Olympics/Paralympics and countries they have been investigating.
Seeing the courage that all students have shown as they apply the new skills they have learnt has been wonderful. We look forward to working with more classrooms in Term 4.

Room 8 Enjoying Library Time
David Street is very lucky to have a well-stocked library. Our librarian Mrs Foley does an amazing job ensuring that our library contains current books that interest our students. Every class spends a half-hour block where they can browse books and choose books to take home or for their classroom library. Having a library in schools sets children up to develop the skills of life-long readers. These photos show Room 8 from the Kauri team enjoying their library time.

Want to Help but can’t Commit to the Home and School Committee?
Become a ‘Friend of the Committee’!
The Home and School Committee is a dedicated group of parents working to enhance our school’s learning environment through fundraising.
But you don’t have to be a full-time member to make a difference!
We’re looking for ‘Friends of the Committee’—volunteers who can lend a hand throughout the year at various events and activities. Whether you can give a little of your time or a lot, every bit helps!
The more helpers we have, the lighter the load and the more we can achieve for our kids.
Join us in making a positive impact—your support means the world!
Register your interest at the link below in becoming a 'Friend of the Committee"
We will then give you a call when events/fundraisers come up to see if you are available.
