Mobile Phones and Smart Phones at School
|
|
Important reminder about our school digital agreement policy which includes the use of mobile phones and smart watches at school during school hours.
|
These are definitely distractions to a student's own and others' learning.
Our policies align with Government requirements stating that mobile phones and smartwatches that can receive or send calls and/or messages must not be accessed during school hours.
|
|
All contact with students during school hours by parents or caregivers should be made through the school office.
|
|
These may be stored in their school bags or at the school office, but must remain turned off during the school day.
|
|
|
|
Friday Lunch Orders
|
We are now offering Friday lunch Orders at School. Lunch orders are placed through Mrs E's Kitchen + Catering at the link below.
|
|
Please note, that Friday Lunch Orders will not be available on Pizza Fridays.
|
This week is Pizza Friday, orders have now closed.
|
Mrs E's Kitchen will be available again next week on Friday 21st June. The cut-off for ordering is Wednesday next week.
|

District Cross Country
|
We had a total of 47 students qualify for the inter-school District Cross Country which was held at Tahuna Golf Course yesterday. Well done to everyone who ran on the day.

Our Fun Run last year was such a big hit we decided to do it again! It was a thumbs up from all the children! Thank you to all the parents and whānau who came along to cheer everyone on.

Winter Illnesses
|
With the onset of winter illnesses, it is a good time to remind children the importance hand washing at home and school.

When reporting any absences PLEASE USE our School App, available to download from your App Store. Search for SchoolAppsNZ or you can use our purpose-built 24-hour seven-days-a-week ABSENTEE LINE( 07) 889 7780 Ext 1.
