Avia , Layson and Tayla from David Street School competed in a cheerleading competition in Auckland over the school holidays. The 3 girls belong to a club and train in Hamilton. Layson and Tayla's group placed 3rd and Avia's group placed 2nd. Well done girls! It is always great to hear and celebrate what our children get up to outside of school.

Dear Friends Just to remind you our next Working Bee will be next Saturday 15th July at 1pm. Meet at the Pavillion. Jeremy has trays of plants to plant so please bring gloves, a trowel, a teaspoon (to get plants out of trays) and if you have them. Overtrousers since you will kneeling on wet ground. If you don't have overtrousers maybe bring something to kneel on. You will need gumboots since ground is very wet. If we have to cancel due to bad weather I will email you latest Saturday morning but earlier if a decision can be made sooner. Hope you can make it. All the best Linda
