Some of our kapa haka students are performing at the Piako Cultural Festival at Morrinsville School today. They are looking forward to performing for you. Our students are scheduled to perform at 11.30am. We hope you can join us in what is always an amazing day.

Friday Lunch Orders
|
We are now offering Friday lunch Orders at School. Lunch orders are placed through Mrs E's Kitchen + Catering at the link below.
|

Friday Lunches will be available again during the last week of term on Friday 5 July.
|
|

Friday 5 July - Last day of Term 2. Our School will close at the usual time of 3.00 pm.

Livestock Day Trophies 2023

Livestock Day organisation is now well underway. This year Livestock Day is being hosted by St Joseph's School on Thursday, October 24.
|

If you were the lucky recipient of a Livestock Day or Group Day trophy, can you now return them to our David Street School Office.

Part-time Care for Kids Team Member
for Morning/After School/Holiday Programme
|
David Street School has an opening for a new team member for its 'Care for Kids' morning, after-school, and holiday program. The successful candidate will join the team supporting the current Manager in ensuring a quality programme is provided to our families.
|
|
The applicant for this position must be 20 years of age and over. You would also ideally have prior experience in working with children, and demonstrate the ability to oversee and manage large groups of children, as well as coordinate support staff.
|
The position also offers the potential for advancement to a 2IC role, and the added benefit of free childcare for primary school-age children while working at CFK.
|
Hours are expected to range between 8 - 20 hours per week during term time with additional hours available during school holidays. There is some flexibility with hours, which can be discussed with the programme Manager.
|
A police check and safety check will be required. A current first aid certificate is an advantage.
|
|

Gym Sport Competition

A huge thank you to all the parents who assisted with transport or came to cheer on our gymnasts and dancers last Friday.
|
|
Your flexibility and patience when the day ran overtime was amazing.
|
|
We were very proud of our children who each gave it their all, with some placing in the competition.
