Friday 17 Nov Pizza Lunch

Orders have now closed. Look out for pizza lunches in 2024. Go online to order an ice block for next Friday 24 November.

Coming Up Next Week

Calendar Art orders have been extended to 9am 20 November!

If you missed out on ordering during the first round of orders, please place your orders before 9am MONDAY 20 NOVEMBER so you don't miss this final round of orders.
This second round of orders will be delivered later than the first round.

There are calendars, cards, diaries, notebooks and mousepads available to order. These make fantastic Christmas presents. Your child's unique code went home with children a few weeks ago.

Kauri Team Storytelling

This term the Kauri Team has been exploring the elements of storytelling through the
arts.
They have looked at how the stories that we love can be enhanced with expression, movement, and timing. Each child has been involved in some way to tell the story. Their focus has been on the process and the learning rather than the end product.

While this is not a production or a presentation, they would love to invite Kauri Team families to watch their class plays on Wednesday 22nd at 9:40.
The showcase runs for approximately one hour and features every class in the Kauri
Team.
There is no charge or cost for attending. The children are looking forward to sharing their learning with you.
If you are unable to attend, they are hoping to be able to record each play which will then be posted on Hero.

Home and School Fun Money

The Home and School Committee and David Street School would like to thank the school community for all their support so far this year. Our classrooms have all received "Fun Money" to spend on fun things for the classroom.

Without parent support of our fundraisers the Home and School would not be able
to support the children and school in the way they do.

Thank You for your support. The Home and School, staff, and children appreciate it.
We are always looking for more committee members. Keep an eye out in the
newsletters for committee meetings, we would love to see some new faces.

Thank you, Home and School for all your hard work raising money for our school. Room 12, Room 11 and Room 9 sent through these photos of goodies purchased from their fun money donated by the Home and School! Some special stationery, lego figures, magnetic tiles, fairy garden, tennis balls, chalk and a basketball. Something for everyone to enjoy.
