Reminder Teacher Only Day Monday 13 November

School will be closed to students for a teacher professional development day

Gumboot Friday Tomorrow

Tomorrow on Friday the 3rd November we will be showing our support for Gumboot Friday.
While we are not collecting money, we will be helping to raise awareness for people struggling with depression.
Depression can feel like walking through mud every day.
Show your support. Put your gumboots on, and take a walk in their shoes for just one day.
It's a fun way for kids to join in the mental health conversation.

Kapa haka Whānau Evening Performance

We invite all whānau of our Kapa haka junior and middle/senior groups to a special kapa haka evening performance.

Both our senior and junior kapa haka groups will be performing under the covered courts on Thursday 16 November at 5.30 pm.
We would love our kapa haka whānau to join us for an evening of entertainment.

Look out for further information going home with your children this coming Monday 6 November.

Congratulations August and Via

During the month of September it was Bee Awareness Month, Room 19 celebrated it by learning the importance of Bees and doing some bee art for the class.
We also entered a competition run by Apiculture NZ, on being aware of the importance of Bees.
Our class had to draw a picture of life with Bees and draw another picture of what our world would be like without Bees.
We were so excited to learn that August Foster and Via Lingard were the 2 winners for their age group.
This is a picture of them with their prize pack that they each won. We are so proud of their awesome win.

Thank you

Bruce Fenell, family friend of the Inglis family, came along to our recent Grandparents day, impressed by our basketball hoops and court wanted to donate these wonderful basketballs.
We really appreciated your kind gift and know our children are going to love playing with them.
