The Junior School Presents - Back to the Future!
The Kahikatea (Junior) Team is excited to announce that we will be showing our talents in the performing arts in our Junior Presentation, 'Back to the Future.'
Every child in the junior school will be performing on stage in this show.
|
The show dates are:
Tuesday 5th September 11 am in the school hall
Wednesday 6th September 11 am in the school hall
Thursday 7th September 11 am in the school hall
|
|
Tickets will go on sale in week 6, (21st August), and you can purchase them via our David Street School Shop or from the school office.
|
(The middle and senior school students will watch our dress rehearsals in week 7).
Adults: $10
Child under 12: $5
Toddlers/babies on a knee: Free
|
The cost of the ticket helps fund the show with costumes, props, lighting etc. We thank you for your understanding.
|
|
Junior Team Whaanau - we appreciate the support you have already given our team. Please keep sending in the base items for your child's costume. We are busy organising the remainder of the costumes and makeup.
|

Ned's Mindset Mission
We were lucky to have NED’s Mindset Mission Roadshow at school yesterday!
|
|
NED’s Mindset Mission is a positive behaviour programme where the facilitator will take our students on an interactive educational journey filled with storytelling, illusions, yo-yo tricks and humour.
|
|
|
|
|
The show is FREE to schools, all we are asked to do is promote the sale of the NED 'yoyo' - this is a way of paying it forward so that this great show can continue to be offered free of charge to schools.
|
|
Should you wish to do so, Yo Yos can now be ordered and purchased via the David Street School Shop (credit /debit card only) or through the school office with either cash or eftpos.
|
|

Morrinsville Intermediate Enrolments 2024
|
Mrs Clark and a group of Morrinsville Intermediate students visited our Year 6 students this morning. Prospective 2024 Morrinsville Intermediate students from our Yr 6 group received an Enrolment Pack.
|
|

Please note: When registering online, there may still be forms (consent and health forms) that require you to sign and either scan or drop in to their school office.

To help with their planning for 2024, they would appreciate if all enrolments could be completed by the end of this Term, Friday 22nd September.

If your child was the lucky recipient of a Livestock Day or Group Day trophy last year, can you please return it to the school office.

Netball has now finished. Please return any netball uniforms you have so we can process your netball bond.

Unfortunately we cannot keep unclaimed items as we do not have the capacity to store them.

Please name your children's clothing so we can get your belongings back to you.
|
|
Unclaimed property will be put out most Mondays for viewing. It is always available for parents to view during the school day.
