Kauri Team Sports
|
The Kauri Team has been utilising our new sports equipment to develop their ball skills. Children have been developing team player skills, throwing, catching, kicking, and dribbling (football and basketball).
|
|
Experiencing regular PE sessions builds valuable motor skills and promotes student wellbeing.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Below are the Kauri team putting their "large ball skills: Striking with the foot" with our new soccer goals and soccer balls.

Room 11 - Six Bricks
|
Every Tuesday afternoon, Deidre, our friendly RTLB, pops into Room 11 to co-teach Six Bricks. Six Bricks is a hands-on tool for learning.
|
|
Through fun and short activities with sets of LEGO® DUPLO® bricks in six bright colours, children can practice their memory, movement, creativity, and all learning areas. We have great fun and, as a fun end to our sessions compete in small group competitions to build the tallest towers.
|

Yummy Sticker Collection
|
We are collecting Yummy fruit stickers again this year so we can claim some FREE sports gear for our school!
|
|
The more stickers we collect, the more sports gear we can get. So start collecting!
|
|
Pop your stickers or labels onto the sticker charts that went home with children this week, then send your full sticker sheets along to the school office.
|
