We are absolutely thrilled to invite our Grandparents to David Street School
tomorrow Friday morning 20 October 10.00am - 11.30am
While children are expected to remain at school after the event, we understand that some grandparents, particularly those from out of town, may wish to spend additional time with their grandchildren and may request an early sign-out.
To maintain safety protocols, we require parents/caregivers inform the office via email at office@davidst.school.nz or by phone at 8897780 if your child is to be signed out of school early. Please include details of who will be signing out your child/children.
This applies even if the person signing out is already authorised for pick-up. The person signing your child out of school will need to do so at the school office.

Who are the Home & School?
The DSS Home & School Committee are a group of parents/caregivers that put together fundraising events, parent get togethers, and functions that benefit our children at school and in the community. Being a member of the Home & School is a meaningful way of supporting your children’s learning. Who Can Be On The Committee? Any mum or dad, caregiver can join Home and School at any stage of their child's schooling. Being on the committee does not mean you are solely responsible for every fundraising venture that arises. We bring thoughts forward, discuss fundraising ideas and put our collective skills together to come up with some awesome ideas.
