Fun Run Event - Friday 7 June - Whole School
The event will be a whole school Fun Run Cross Country with obstacles. There will be tunnels to crawl through, hay bales, mini hurdles, zig-zags to run and hoola hoops.
|
|
As the children will need to crawl on the ground, can you please ensure that your child has appropriate clothing to run and crawl in or a change of clothing.
|
The start time for the Fun Run is approximately 1:15 pm
|
Since crawling on the ground is involved, please ensure that your child is dressed in suitable clothing for running and crawling, or provide them with a change of clothes.

All students are expected to stay at school after their race.

If it is necessary to take your child from school please sign them out at the school office.

Basketball Fun Day 2024

Thank you to our Home& School Committee for running a great and extremely popular canteen and also to our parents who came and supported our teams.
|

A big congratulations to our Year 6 leaders who ran another very successful Basketball Fun Day!

David Street School Cross Country Run
|
Congratulations to all our runners at the DSS Competition Cross Country on Wednesday.
|
|
The top 5 place getters in each group are eligible to attend the Districts Cross Country at Tahuna next week on Wednesday 12 June.
|
|
We will be leaving school at 9.45 am with races starting at 10.45 am. We will arrive back at school by 2 pm at the latest. A permission notice will be going home with children who qualified.
|
Boys will run separately to Girls.
|
|
The races will be run in the order below:
|
|
8-year girls, 8-year boys, 7-year girls, 7-year boys, 9-year girls, 9-year boys, 10 & 11-year girls, 10 & 11-year boys.
|
We do not know the exact time of each race so cannot give you an estimate, sorry.
|
There will be a coffee cart available for parents.
|
|
